A Room with a View

The view from my dining room.

"Wasteland? I think you mean WONDERLAND!"

I snapped this one from my dining room window the day before flying to Arizona to spend Christmas with some family. No white Christmas for me; not that I mind, mind you.

I just love the color effect produced by the evening overcast.

While this image lays blindingly bare the inferiority of my own 5-year-old Canon S20 when compared to my wife's shiny new SD300, the image quality is still quite impressive on an 8x10 print. In fact, a print of this image now hangs in the same dining room from where I took the picture.
